Scott A. Bowman has completed seismic and field based structural analysis in foreland thrust belts, rifts and strike slip margins.
He is a 1980 graduate of Colorado School of Mines where he studied with Drs. Eric Nelson, and Ernest Anderson (USGS).
He has successfully worked structural interpretations from seismic, well-log and outcrop data in the Tertiary of the Gulf
Coast, Niger Delta, Middle and Lower Magdalena Basins of Colombia, and the Middle East fold belts.
Structural studies include the Palmyrid Fold Belt of Syria, Extensional Basins in the Basin and Range Province of Nevada, and the Appalachian and Rocky Mountain Foreland Thrust belt.
He has produced plate tectonic reconstructions of the Mediterranean region, and Western Cordilleran of North America.
